Kursat Uysal, business development manager and Steve Birch, technical manager both play a key role in managing new business accounts and helping to turn a creative concept into reality.

With their extensive packaging background, Kursat and Steve are a driving force particularly in our shrink sleeves division. They use their expertise to advise customers on how sleeves can help reduce costs and packaging and bring their products in line with the competitive European market.

One project they were both heavily involved with was the ‘sleeve and seal’ full-body sleeve, which incorporates both a decorative and anti-tamper function, cutting out the unnecessary production processes involved in sourcing separate components including plastic lids, tamper sleeves and labels.

Innovative perforations around the top and down the side mean that the decorative part of the sleeve remains intact while it is consumed and is easily recycled by removing the sleeve from the container.

We have invested a lot of time and money in this market after Kursat, Steve and the rest of the team spotted our customers’ needs for the proven Chadwicks service in sleeves as well as lids, providing a dual service that brings many benefits to customers.
